Bow Fiddle Rock
13th & 14th February 2015
Bow Fiddle Rock is one of those locations I have known about for years but never been close enough to have a go at shooting.
This time I decided to go the extra mile while I was over the border and take a look.
The landscape of Moray is much flatter and more mellow than the Scotland of the West that I know better.
The Bow Fiddle Rock itself is certainly a bold and dramatic subject but sadly the lighting was a bit lacklustre in the evening and not much better in the morning.
It’s a long way up country for me to get too so I don’t know if I will get back this way to have another go so for now these shots will have to stand up for themselves.
I would be very interested to see this under better lighting conditions though.
