Trethevy Quiot. Cornwall.

This ancient burial site now nestles amidst a modern community and uncluttered viewpoints are rather limited.
One thing that impressed me about this monument was it’s size compared to other sites that I have seen.
These stones really are massive and I chose the low angle to emphasise that solidity.
For a long time I kept the image in colour but recently revisited the shot for this mono conversion.
I have to say now that the colour shot just doesn’t have the same power.
