Menai Bridge
15th January 2012
This little church yard of St. Tysilio nestled between the bridges caught my eye on the drive onto the island the day before and I resolved to visit it on my way home.
It’s sheltered position meant the overnight hoar frost was lying deep and hard, creating a beautiful rime on the slatey tombstones.
It seemed a fitting viewpoint for the bridges that must have been wonders of their age but almost certainly cost the lives of many of the builders in the days of their construction.
